Gah, it’s been quite some time again since I’ve updated my journal, hasn’t it?

Well, I’ve actually been meaning to add what would surely have ended up to be a rather long entry for the last few weeks, but I’ve suddenly found myself rather busy again with school, chores and hunting the elusive species known as “Job”. They’re listed as red-data these days, you know <-(Tokyo MewMew reference, by the way)

Anyway, aside from being “let go” (Oh, small silver lining to that, by the way. According to my work coordinator, I’d get a good reference from Panera.) the last few weeks of my summer break were rather fun, if not all too short. Some Highlights:

I wound up going to our annual State Fair four times, the most I’ve ever gone in my entire life, and had a blast with new experiences each time. This is what I wanted to make the long entry I mentioned earlier about, but sadly at this point I don’t remember everything I wanted to say anymore, so some highlights here:

I tried a lot of interesting new foods this year, amongst which; Macaroni and Cheese on-a-Stick, French Fried Mushrooms, S’mores-on-a-Stick and Deep Fried Pickles.
I visited the anime booth in the “Merchandise Mart” as always this year and got a Ghost Mario Plushie, Kyo’s bracelet and a Naruto Shiputen keychain with Sakura and… that-one-annoying-guy-who-acts-polite-but-you-can’t-tell-who’s-side-he’s-on on it.
Aside from being the first time I’ve ever tried games, I won two prizes in the Midway! A Sonic Plushie (that has had a very privileged place on my bed since) and a Cream Plushie!
I got a beautiful oriental shirt in the International Bizarre
I got a Caricature of myself done
I went into the “Haunted House” for the first time ever

I also wound up going to see Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince by myself one day. I thought it was pretty good; the effects were impressive and I think they did a pretty good job of staying pretty true to the key parts of the book.

I’ve had a job interview at both Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister. The funny thing about this was that is was the exact same application and interviewing process (right down to the questions) were identical. I assume this is because it must be the same company, but still. Anyway, I felt they went well but I haven’t heard anything, so… While on my job hunt, I’ve also noticed that another Halloween store was opening up close to where Sprit was last year so I’ll be trying there as well.

The first few weeks of school have been fine, I guess. I’m in the “Art” class again this year, so I’ll at least have some scraps to upload on occasion and “Hobbies”. Our first Friday Activity was going to Grand Slam Sports where I ended up not doing a whole lot (I wanted to do this bowling thing, but it was out of order!) and yesterday we went to the Zoo which was nice, but a little disappointing because I already went there this summer and as far as Zoos go, it’s pretty darn small….

Well, I guess that’s all I can think of at the moment. I guess I wound up with a pretty long entry after all but It’s not too surprising considering how long it’s been.
